My new Punch Storage

I know its been a while, but I have been so busy with life lately. I havent even made a card.  I read a blog somewhere once that a gal used cheapo curtain rods for her punches. Well I had the day off yesterday, so I went into target and bought a double while cheapo curtain rod. It was just 3.97. I got the double because I figured it would hold the weight of my punches.  I need to go buy one more set.  I can actuallysee them now, think I will use them more often??

I still havent figured out how to store my martha stewart border punches.

If your still struggling storing your handheld punches this is the way to go!! I used to keep them in a shoe thingy over the door, I hated it. But this really works well!

  1. What a great idea! I wish I had more wall space available in my scraproom. Meanwhile, my punches are stored in a small three drawer rubbermaid thing that sits on the work table behind my desk.

  3. Hey! I actually use cheapO curtain rods, too! I don’t use the doubles, as they really don’t support more weight, it’s the same bracket, and no more wall support. You can use one of the screw in middle supports if it gets too heavy. I have two long curtain rods full, and mine take the weight fine. They are attached to the brackets on my wall shelf system, and are the best storage. When I redo my room, I am going with nicer rods, but for now, cheap is GOOD!!! I am holding 30 full size punches (SU) on two rods, so you should be good to go!

  4. I think this is a great way to store these punches. I would just need miles of it, lol! Some of my MS punches are on a craft shelf organizer thingy that I really love.
